NO FISH! GO FISH!™ loves to talk. We especially love to talk about ourselves. The following are some of the frequently asked questions we are asked....

- What is a NO FISH™?

NO FISH are sandwiches baked in the shape of fish. They look like cute little fish but they contain no actual fish.

- Where does it come from?

The NO FISH Sandwich™ was inspired by a traditional Korean sweet bean fish-shaped pastry known as Pung Ap Bang.  Loosely translated, Pung Ap Bang means fish bread that has no fish.

- So it's Korean?

No, it is as American as corn bread. We at NO FISH! GO FISH! love international food. But we believe hearty healthy American food comforts and nourishes like no other.

- Did you invent it?

Yes. We developed our own bread recipe which blends the sweetness of corn bread with the high fiber benefits of oat and the texture and flavor of wheat flour and incorporated the visual appeal of the Korean fish shaped pastry. The delicious and somewhat crisp bread is baked fresh right at the carts or at the restaurant while you watch and are filled with a variety of cheese and vegetable fillings.

- Do you have meat fillings?

Yes we do. Stop by the restaurant for the full range of fillings.

- Is one enough for lunch?

Not really. One NO FISH Sandwich is a yummy snack, but two NO FISH Sandwiches with a pint of SOUP OF THE GODS™ brand soup featured exclusively at NO FISH! GO FISH! makes a terrific lower fat high flavor meal for lunch or dinner.

- What kind of Fish is it?

 It's not fish. It just looks like fish.

- What do you have against Fish?

We at NO FISH! GO FISH! have nothing against anything.

- Can you put fish in it?

Yes, but then it wouldn't be a NO FISH, would it?

- What does NO FISH! GO FISH! mean?

We just like that name. Don't you like it? And what does anything mean, really?

- Why not No Cow! Go Cow!

Good question. It might work.

- Where can I get one of those ovens?

Far far away. Besides, you don't want one. They exceed carry on allowance (except maybe on Aeroflot) and they're difficult to explain at customs.

- Is it Fattening?

We don't think so. There is no oil in the bread. The spinach and feta filling has a small amount of extra virgin olive oil and the curried vegetable filling contains coconut milk. Cheese is cheese, what can we say? Anyway, we eat them all the time and look at us. John is 67 years old. Sean is 145. Perfect physical specimens. We've never had NO FISH! Sandwiches analyzed for caloric content in a laboratory, but we might research that next year. We'll keep you updated.

- What’s in the spray oil?

It is a canola spray. 1/3 second sprays contain 0% fat the label claims.

- Do you work all year?

Yes. We love to work.

- Even in winter?

Don't you love hot soup in winter? Of course you do. So we're there for you in the freezing cold and pouring rain.

- Do you get wet / cold?

Yes.

- How do I start my own cart?

Why would you want to do that?

- Who’s the boss at NO FISH! GO FISH! ?

Me.

- How much longer will John have to keep working outside?

Not much longer, we hope. It's good for him, though. It builds character and keeps him in shape.

- Is Sean a super tough boss?

Sean doesn't think so.
